No. Our Autonomous  Sinks UMA use selfpiming pumps. Unlike submersible pumps, our pumps are much more durable and easier to use.

2. Our pumps are more convenient – water is supplied as soon as you open the tap, while the submersible pump must pump water into the line, create pressure, and only then the water starts to flow (after about a second)

3. Our pumps are easier to maintain – a thin flexible hose is lowered into a canister with fresh water, rather than a large submersible pump hanging on a hose and power wire. At the same time, no water flows out of it while you changing the canister

4. Our pumps are more durable and reliable. At the same time, the entire water supply system is also more reliable – it does not have an unreliable switch in the plastic tap (which controls the pump).
There is only one downside – the price. The pumps we use are more expensive. But, given the benefits, we consider their use reasonable.

No. Our Autonomous  Sinks UMA take water from a removable clean water tank and drain dirty water into a removable waste water tank.

Yes. They use electricity from a 230V outlet to power the pump. Electricity consumption – 60 watts. Electricity is only used when the pump is running. When water does not flow, the pump does not work and no electricity is used.

If there is no 230V socket at the place of installation of the washbasin, you can use the model powered by a 12V battery. Small battery from an UPS of 7…9 Ah is enough for work during the day. You will need to charge the battery regularly with an external charger for car or motorcycle battery.

No, our washbasins come fully assembled, tested and ready to go. You just need to remove the packaging, fill the canister with clean water and go!

Dirty water is drained into a 10 liter canister. This is very convenient – so you do not splash dirty water, as if there were a bucket instead of a canister, and translucent plastic makes it easy to monitor the water level.

Maximum water flow exceeds the flow from a conventional plumbing tap. In most cases, the flow has to be reduced with a tap.

Sure. We offer DIY kits that include everything except the cabinet and sink. There is a tap (it is not quite ordinary – with a large inner channels). Mounting kit, pump and stabilizing system, electronics unit, tank for fresh water and tank for waste water.

Like any complex equipment, autonomous washbasins UMA  can fail.

In order to reduce this possibility, we are constantly working to improve the design. Most troubles can be eliminated by the user with a minimum set of tools: a screwdriver, pliers and a knife. If this is not possible, then the modular design of the sink makes it easier to transport the faulty unit for repair.

We constantly maintain a reserve of spare parts in order to minimize equipment downtime.

The warranty period for our Autonomous sinks UMA is 12 months. If the malfunction occurred due to a manufacturer’s fault, repairs and spare parts are free. The terms of the warranty are specified in the warranty card that comes with each sink.
